The Brief

The Restaurant Group chose us and our sister agency, Food Innovation Solutions, to deliver an integrated insights and innovation program, developing and testing new South East Asian and Indian-inspired menus for two new dark kitchen businesses.

Food Innovation Solutions developed 55 new dishes and menu components for the two dark kitchen brands – Jumping Pans and Pyjama Hotel, incorporating Thai, Indian, Cantonese, and Korean cuisines across a range of dish formats. They also took care of operational design and costing.

Good Sense Research executed consumer taste panels of key menu items to ensure they delivered on menu promise and benchmarked well against competitors.
