Jules Greene joins the research department this month and we are all very excited to have her join our team. Just as we are excited for Jules to join the team, she is also very much looking forward to being part of a larger team with so many different skills and the opportunity to learn from others and share her expertise with.

Jules began her ‘market research’ adventures client-side with PZ Cussons and Premier Brands. 

Consultancy approach is Jules’ passion

Her real passion is in a consultancy style role where she is able to develop her skills to optimise the impact of research insight. Her enthusiasm for helping client teams make better consumer, user and shopper inspired decisions shines through. Jules is widely recognised as an expert Qualitative Research Investigator and is often invited to lead projects for her clients based on her unrivaled rigour and vigour in ensuring insights are embedded in management thinking and drive strategy- genuinely making a difference to how businesses grow.

Beyond the skills expected of an experienced Qual Investigator, Jules is recognised as a true consumer/user/shopper champion. She has been instrumental in winning several awards for Insight Impact for her clients and teams- elevating her “preferred insight supplier” status. Jules is frequently asked to coach client teams in research uses and abuses, lead training courses in presentation and communication skills and has been repeatedly invited to join cross-functional client team Steering Groups to ensure the hearts and minds of consumers are central to management thinking and actions, both within and beyond the Marketing Function.

Food and Drink are her areas of expertise

Food and Drink are areas of expertise for Jules. She has vast knowledge and understanding of Chilled Prepared Foods, gained by leading Category, NPD, Packaging and Strategic projects in most Fresh Prepared Categories for major suppliers, including Bakkavor, Addo, Cranswick and Samworth;  brand champions including Yeo Valley, Heck and McCain and key Retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, M&S and Co-op. She also has extensive experience of Frozen Food Categories- working with McCain, Whitby Seafoods and Greenyard and Ambient Categories working with Warburtons, Calbee and Refresco amongst others. 

Man City, the theatre or Sri Lanka

Beyond Man City, in her spare time Jules loves the theatre and friends and family are very important to her.  She also loves to travel, but it must be a mix of adventure travels to far flung places and getaway breaks on glorious beaches. Rio is her favourite party city, Los Roques in Venezuela is her favourite beach, Rome her favourite City Break, the Lake District for a weekend away, Sri Lanka for food place and New Zealand as an all-rounder.

Jules loves to eat! And she finds it hard to choose a favourite food as it depends on her mood. She is quite adventurous as to what she will try and would actively choose something she hasn’t had before.
